PONTON happily facilitated a great moment for the European energy trading sector, taking place on the EMART conference in Amsterdam on Friday, 4. November 2016: Two traders of the trading firms Yuso and Priogen used Enerchain to execute a trade for Belgian power, to be delivered day-ahead on Saturday, 5. November. The trade was performed over the blockchain without a central platform, instead it utilised the distributed peer-to-peer architecture of the blockchain infrstructure.
